Congratulations to Tucson Scrabblers at the Teeny Tiny Three Tournament
Tucson players fared well in the June 21st Teeny Tiny Tucson Tournament. VIC KAYE led the Tucson contingent with a 1st place finish in Division 2, while MICHAEL RHODES and PHYLLIS SPENCE nailed down 2nd place honors in Divisions 1 & 2 respectively. KAREN LUNDEEN had the highest scoring play of a word containing the highest number of "Ts" (TOTALED 82 pts) to win the "Teeny Tiny Tucson Tournaments Contest and a set of World-Class Protiles. VIC KAYE had the high game, 458, in Division 2 (Scrabble Word Book). KAREN LUNDEEN had the high loss in Division 2 (tile catcher). And, last but not least, PHYLLIS SPENCE won the "Friend of the Director" drawing to claim the $6.00 pot.

Congratulations to Tucson Scrabblers at the Teeny Tiny Two Tournament
Tucson players fared well in Saturday's Teeny Tiny Tucson Tournament. NATHAN BENEDICT (Div 1) and ROBERT READLE (Div 3) took 1st Place in their respective divisions with MONIQUE KORNELL (Div 1) and RICHARD SPENCE (Div 2) grabbing 2nd Place money and VIC KAYE (Div 3) coming in 3rd. MONIQUE KORNELL (461) and RICHARD SPENCE (462) played the highest games in their divisions while MICKEY MATZ had the high loss (386) and the Best Performance in the lower half of division 3.
