+ The RulesThe AB to YZ Bingo Contest is played over the course of 13 sessions of the 2003-2004 season in NSA Club #565. The object of The AB to YZ Bingo Contest is to work our way through the alphabet playing bingos that begin with either one of the session's designated "AB to YZ letters." The AB to YZ Bingo Contest letters are the letters of the alphabet starting with AB and ending with YZ. For example, the first session will feature the AB to YZ Bingo Contest letters A and B, the first two letters of the alphabet. The next session will feature C and D, the third and fourth letters of the alphabet. This will progress until the end of the contest, which will feature Y and Z, the last letters of the alphabet. For each bingo you play that begins with either of that session's AB to YZ Bingo Contest letters, you score 1 point. For instance, if the Double Bingo Letters are G and H and you play two bingos starting with the letter G, you would score 2 points. If you play a bingos beginning with
BOTH of the session's AB to YZ Bingo Contest letters, you get a bonus
of 1 extra point. For instance, if the session's Double Bingo letters
are G and H and the list of bingos on your scorecard
includes the bingos GRANDER, HOARIER, and GENERAL,
you would score 4 points: Each session, two dollars will be taken
out of the dues collected and added to The AB to YZ Bingo Contest Jackpot.
At the end of the 13th Session, prizes will be awarded to the players
in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place: + The Bingos
