+ Session NotesThis was our 37th session of the season. We were joined by 9 players who played a total of 26 games in which we scored an even total of 18,209 points for a 700.3 points-per-game average. We played 52 bingos this session. Of those bingos, two were phonies that went unchallenged. As of this session, we have paid out $881.26 in prizes for the 2003-2004 season; click here for the list of winners! As this was the last session of the month, club rankings for all players who played an average of 3 or more games per session for the month are available as well. Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Ed Saundes was the top player, turning in a perfect 5-0 +414 scorecard. Bob Yarmchuk also turned in a perfect scorecard with a 6-0 +238 evening, ruining several folks ratings in the process and picking up 170 club ratings points himself. Watch out for Bob; he's good! The first contest of the session was the "Barely Won It" contest for the game won by the narrowest margin. Daniel Forrest picked this one up with a 330-327 win, squeaking by his opponent with a 3 point margin. The second contest was the "Monsoon Contest" for the highest scoring play of a ord related to the Arizona monsoon. We received the following entries: Naurlene Canterman won two of the progressive jackpots this session, both with the same play! Her 101-point play of YELLOWEST snagged the $3.00 100+ Point Play Jackpot as well as the $7.63 9= Bingo Jackpot. Congrats to Naurlene, and those jackpots will revert to zero. The other two progressive jackpots will each have $1.69 added to them. + Bingos by PlayerBelow are the bingos played during the 29 July 2004 session at National Scrabble Association Club #565.
