+ Session NotesThis was our 32nd session of the season. We were joined by 9 players who played a total of 23 games in which we scored an even total of 16,788 points for a 729.9 points-per-game average. We played 50 bingos this session. As this was the last session of the month, club rankings for June, 2004, are available for all players who averaged 3 games per session over the last month. Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Lewis Saul was the top player this session by turning in a 5-1+441 scorecard. The contests for the evening were the Direction Contest for the highest-scoring play of a word related to direction. Monique Kornell scooped this one up with a 27-point play of JEED, a variant of GEED (turned to the right). The other contest for the evening was the Jackie Gleason Contest, in memory of the fact it was the 17th anniversary of The Great One's death. The entries for this contest were: Two of the progressive jackpots were won. Ed Saunders picked up the 9+ Bingo Jackpot with a 64 point bingo of FATTENERS. He takes home $3.37. Josh Kassel nailed the triple-Triple Jackpot with a 194-point play of ANTIQUES, the highest play of the season so far. He takes home $10.30.
