+ Session NotesThis was our 27th session of the season. We were joined by 11 players who played a total of 28 games in which we scored a total of 20,299 points for a 724.9 points-per-game average. We played 65 bingos this session. Of those bingos, 8 were phonies that went unchallenged. As of this session, we have paid out $701.83 in prizes during the 2003-2004 season; click here for the list of winners! We welcomed back two old friends who have been away for some time: Yusupha Jow and Jake Jacobs. We also greeted a brand new player who learned of us in the paper: Depy Adams. We hope to see all three on a regular basis! Joshua Kassel was the session's top player, turning in a scorecard with 83% of his games won. Ed Saunders was the bingo king with 10 bingos in 5 games. And speaking of bingos, Liz Shaw is to be congratulated for turning in her first bingo in club play: a play of DEGRADES, which we know is the first of many to come. She also hit a new all time high score of 380 in the process. Way to go! The contests for the session were for High Win, which Ed Saunders picked up with an impressive 534-pointer. The other contest was the "High 4" contest for the highest-scoring play made with any 4 tiles. This one goes to Naurlene Canterman, for a 58-point play of QUAD. Both Ed and Naurlene take home prizes of $7.50. None of the four progressive Jackpot Prizes were won, and $1.88 will be added to each. The next Session (27 May) will feature
