+ Session NotesThis was our 31st session of the season. We were joined by 11 players including new players Jim and June Yordy, who recently arrived to Tucson from Illinois and read about us in the paper. We played a total of 29 games in which we scored an even total of 20,000 points for a 689.7 points-per-game average. We played 47 bingos this session. Of those bingos, three were phonies that went unchallenged. As of this session, we have paid out $782.65 in prizes for the 2003-2004 season; click here for the list of winners! Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Monique Kornell topped the list this session by turning in a perfect 4-0 +799 scorecard. Ed Saunders did the same with a 5-0 +734 performance. The session's contests were for High Win, which Ed picked up with a 556-point game. The second contest of the session was the "High 6" contest for the highest-scoring play using any six tiles. Naurlene Canterman picked this one up with an 84-point play of SQUISH, played with the S tile going two ways on a TWS square. Both Ed and Naurlene take home prizes of $6.75. Nobody won any of the progressive jackpots, and $1.68 shall be added to them. + Bingos by PlayerBelow are the bingos played during the 17 June 2004 session at National Scrabble Association Club #565.
