+ Session NotesThis was our 34th session of the season. We were joined by 8 players including Con Downey, visiting us from Phoenix. We played a total of 23 games in which we scored an even total of 16,568 points for a 720.3 points-per-game average. We played 47 bingos this session. Of those bingos, two were phonies that went unchallenged. As of this session, we have paid out $836.82 in prizes for the 2003-2004 season; click here for the list of winners! Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Ed Saunders was the top player, turning in a perfect 5-0 +414 scorecard. The contests for the evening were for High Win, which Ed scooped up with a 481 game. The other contest for the evening was to commemorate the July 8th ringing of the Liberty Bell and first ever public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Lewis Saul picked this up with a 72-point play of UNITERS (The founding fathers were UNITERS who unanimously approved the Liberty Bell project"). Both Ed and Lewis take home prizes of $6.00. One of the progressive jackpots was won.
Turning in a 137-point play of FRIZZES, karen Lundeen takes away the 100+ Point Play Jackpot dor $1.50. The other three progressive jackpots will
each have $1.50 added to them. + Bingos by PlayerBelow are the bingos played during the 08 July 2004 session at National Scrabble Association Club #565. Phony bingos are listed in red lower case. Naurlene Canterman - 6 Bingos |
