+ Session NotesThis was our 38th session of the season. We were joined by 10 players who played a total of 25 games in which we scored a total of 17,936 points for a 717.4 points-per-game average. We played 54 bingos this session. Of those bingos, seven were phonies that went unchallenged. As of this session, we have paid out $907.63 in prizes for the 2003-2004 season; click here for the list of winners! Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Jake Jacobs was the top player, turning in a perfect 3-0 +189 scorecard. The first contest of the session was the "Blackjack Scrabble " contest for the highest scoring play directly before or after a score of 21 points. Three folks submitted entries for this. Elizabeth Shaw played LOVERS for 21 followed by OM for 16. Daniel Forrest played a 63-point bingo of STAINED followed by a 21-point play of QAT. But the winner is Bob Yarmchuk for a following up his 21-point play with an 83-point play of REGAINED. The second contest for high win was scooped up by Lewis Saul for an impressive 557-point game. Bob and Lewis will each take home prizes of $7.50. Lewis Saul also nailed the Triple-Triple Jackpot. His play of TEARIESTscored him 131 points as well as a prize of $9.50. Jake Jacobs nailed teh 9+ Bingo Jackpot with a 9-letter play of LITERATES for $1.87.
