/ | | AVG POINTS | AVG BINGOS | CLUB RATING Session Notes: This was our 43rd session of the season. We welcomed back our illustrious co director Monique Kornell from a six week hiatus to lands abroad. She came back to an empty house, however; With folks en route to the big tournament in Albuquerque, we had a light crowd of only seven folks. We played 15 games for the evening. 10,713 points were scored for a 714.3 points-per-game average and a 357.1 points-per-player-per-game average. We saw 21 bingos for the session. Of those, almost 24% (five of them) were phonies that went unchallenged. Naurlene was the top player of the evening, turning in a perfect 6-0 scorecard. Both Gary Wagman and Lewis Saul turned in six bingos in five games and share the title of Bingo King for the evening. The "REplay" contest for the highest-scoring word that began with RE but could stand alone as a word without the RE prefix goes to Joshua Kassel with a 96-point opening phony of reboxes*. Naurlene won the Close Call contest for the closest win, barely beating out Gary Wagman in a 300-295 game. Josh and Naurlene both take home $3. Despite a very common letter, only Gary Wagman scored in the Alphabet Bingo contest, which featured the letter S. No jackpots were nailed this session, and $0.88 will be added to each of them. Next
Session (18 September) will feature the following contests: Below are the bingos and their anagrams played at Club #565 on September 11 by player. Phonies are in red lower case.
