Session Notes:

This was session number 36 for the season. 11 players competed in a total of 24 games in which 17,850 points were scored for an overall average of 744 points per game, or 372 points per player per game. Of the 57 bingos played this session, 4 were phonies that went unchallenged.

Our co-director (in chief), Josh Kassel, was absent as he was caring for his wife, Tiffany, who suffered a bad spill from a horse and needed leg surgery. The entire club wishes Tiff a speedy recovery.

The Bingo King this session was Ed Saunders, with 11 bingos in five games. Karen Lundeen won the prize for Low Win (330 pts). Jake Jacobs captured the Food Contest with VINEGARS for 76 pts, narrowly beating Lewis Saul's PECTINS by 2 points.

The Triple-Triple Jackpot of $36.50 was scooped up by Linda Bredel with her INTENDER of 131 pts. The 9+ Bingo Jackpot and the "Deja Bingo" Jackpot are still up for grabs. Both Jackpots are now at $4.76. Since Linda finally won the Triple-Triple Jackpot, we are going to zero it out and introduce a fourth jackpot as well. Starting with the 31 July session, we are happy to present a Double-Double Jackpot. Each session, each of the four Jackpot prizes will have an eighth of the sessions' dues dues  and the Triple-Triple starts anew next week. Ed Saunders maintains his lead in the Alphabet Bingo contest with two bingos starting with the letter L. Nathan matched him with two of his own.

Next Session (31 July) will feature the following contests:
- Low Win - A prize will be awarded to the player who plays the lowest-scoring winning game.  (~a quarter of dues collected)
- Our Friends Electric Contest - A prize will be awarded to the highest-scoring play that contains a word that has to do with electricity, in honor of the spectacular light shows we are enjoying at this time of year (e.g., LIGHTNING, OHM, BOLT etc.). To qualify for this prize, you must form the entire "electric word." Pluralizing an existing electric word does not count, but creating a electric word by extending onto a non-electric word does count. (~a quarter of dues collected).
- Triple-Triple Jackpot - An eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who scores a Triple-Triple Play.
- Double-Double Jackpot
- An eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who scores a Double-Double Play.
- 9+ Bingo Jackpot
- A jackpot of $4.76 plus a portion of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who scores a bingo containing nine or more letters.
"Deja Bingo" Jackpot - A jackpot of $4.76 plus a portion of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who plays the same bingo more than once in a session.

- Alphabet Bingo
- The Alphabet Bingo letter for this session is "M." For each bingo you play that begins with the letter M, you score one point. ($26 Jackpot)
